Unlock the Horizon is a short feature film that tells a story of young Tonče who returns from the city school to his beloved home on the country. He is welcome among his brothers, sisters and friends who remained on the estate as shepherds. They admire him and follow his example. During one of their adventures in the near forest, they come across the mysterious boy Jernej. He gains Tonče's trust and eventually takes advantage of his nobility and sense for charity. Jernej finally shows his true colours and his friends, led by Tonče, find themselves in trouble at home and in conflict with the law.
