First episode that we filmed for EWTN was released in April 2020. It takes us into the 5th century, the era of Pope Leo the Great. His operation was defined by the period of never ending barbaric raids in the fallout of the Western Roman Empire, along them meeting Attila, the mighty leader of the Huns is the most remarkable.

Leo I, also known as Leo the Great, was Bishop of Rome from 29 September 440 until his death. Pope Benedict XVI said that Leo's papacy "was undoubtedly one of the most important in the Church's history." He was a Roman aristocrat, and was the first pope to have been called "the Great".
